Does anyone know what hop varieties are used in this blend?
Found this from someone who posted on the Probrewer forum:
“Hopunion LLC Falconer’s Flight™ is a proprietary pellet blend comprised of many of the Northwest’s most premier hop varieties including the highly acclaimed Citra™, Simcoe®, and Sorachi Ace along with experimental hops and numerous other NW varieties.”
It’s kinda like how when you can’t get enough coffee, you mix it with chicory.
I’ve used this blend a couple of times in an IPA and they have been good.
I can certainly taste the Simcoe.
I have a pound in my freezer so I guess I should brew something with it. Maybe I’ll brew an IPA for Learn to Homebrew day, unless my club does a barrel project like we’ve been talking about.
