I ran across this article and thought I’d share. Has some very interesting information for those who’ve ever worried about pathogens surviving in your homebrew. I know… I’m such a geek LOL But very interesting and engaging stuff.
Confirms what we always knew to be true, that both alcohol and hops hurt wild beasts.
The most fascinating conclusion for me:
“Pathogen survival in all beers was prolonged at lowered storage temperatures.”
So… gosh… not sure what to do with that one!
I know I am going to let my cider sit for at least 40 days, now!
