If so, how well does it work? I’d have trouble finding space for a small freezer to use with a temp controller to regulate fermentation temperatures.
This would seem to be ideal–if it works as advertised.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

A guy in my club has one and he loves it. Says it works great.
well that thing looks pretty cool-great option for those without space for extra freezer or fridge.
it would really be cool if they added wifi with remote app to monitor temps and adjust as desired when away from home…next generation maybe 8)
edit:and heating
I think both of those are planned in the future.
I looked at it, but the cost is too high for me. I could certainly see somebody with extremely limited space loving it.
I’d get one, but it doesn’t fit glass carboys.
Denny,
Could you please contact the guy in your club that has the Brewjacket chiller and ask him to email me? I’d like to get more info before laying out $300.
My email is: mroth1089@gmail.com
Thanks
Well, that’s what the guy I know uses it with, so…
I’m going off of what the Brewjacket rep at the Grand Rapids NHC told me. Maybe they’ve managed to slim down the immersion post since then.

I’m assuming that means it fits the Better Bottle and other plastic carboys?
If you want to lager without buying a freezer or fridge then the cost of a Better Bottle to use it in isn’t all that much.
Here’s what it fits…some with modified lids like bucket and big mouth bubbler.
Here’s the reply from my friend…
“I checked out the post and will email the guy since I’m not sure about a login on the site. It is a nice system. I like that you just stick it in a carboy (better bottle, it is thicker than a standard glass carboy). It takes some time to cool, like 1 degree / hr and longer as is gets cooler but it will go down to 35 below room temp. The “sleeping bag” it comes with is key. Once temp is reached it is very stable. It does make some fan noise that is louder than you would think necessary when it is actively cooling.
I know it was designed to be easily upgraded in the future for heating and wifi.”
