Hops Anyone?

I have about
1/4lb each of Strisselspalt, Styrian Golding, Northdown, Challenger, EKG
1/2lb each of Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, Warrior, Target (homegrown)
1lb Cascade
Couple of ounces of Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra
2lbs home grown English Fuggles

That would be great!

Only $80/lb.!

I am in the too many category.

Around 20 lbs spread over 25 varieties.  2 pounds on the way, and those are new varieties.

I have one pound of EKG whole cone that will go into a single 10 gallon batch.  Some more hoppy beers are planned.  They get used up, for the most part.

You can keep’em.

Not over here. Need my address?

2oz of simcoe
2oz of Saaz
2oz of nothern Brewer
2oz of cascade
.5oz chinook
.5oz herbsbrucker
I buy my hops at my local more beer store by the oz.  They have good deals.

1 lb EKG leaf
0.75 lbs Mt Hood leaf
0.5 lbs fuggles leaf
0.5 lbs styrian goldings pellets
2 oz saaz pellets
3 oz willamette leaf (although this is getting a bit old)
2 oz Hallertauer Mittelfreuh pellets

+1

I like to support my LHBS so if I only need a few ounces of a specific hop I’ll buy from them.

of late I have been trying to use only organic ingredients. so I order almost excusivly from 7 bridges as they are the only fupplier of organic ingredients I have found. I don’t know that the prices are that good but given I can’t find the organic stuff anywhere else I guess they are the best price around for what I want

Thanks for the tip!

:frowning: :-[, dangit

I can’t believe I got sucked into this thread!
Folks with a hop problem may not want to share.

But anyhow, the Seven Bridges deserves this bump
especially if you might have a bent toward supporting organic farmers.

And I bet they can provide the best lambic hops anywhere.

I just got a package of hops from them testerday,
some Nelson Sauvin for a tester.

I know, stupid time of year to be sending for NZ hops,
but yea, that is what this thread is about. ;D

Cheers.

Never had an opportunity to try Nelson S hops yet. I understand they have a “white wine” fruitiness about them.

Good for APA’s?

I’d like to give them a shot someday.

Let us know how they work out for you.

I would call them “kinda strange”…

The southern hemisphere is wacky!

Yea, the hop affliction thread;
isn’t that what this is?

It can be an addiction,
having innumerable and embarrassing numbers of hops on hand.

edited for politeness and spelling ::slight_smile:
