I’ve seen that video before…and still…it somehow manages to entertain me for several minutes!
Perhaps it was growing up having to heave a large woodsplitter around as a boy. I don’t dispute that it was good for me, but it is quite cathartic watching that thing split wood effortlessly like it is making sweet potato fries or something.
Bonus points if you take the tree down with this…
I’ve seen it before too, and was still enthralled and watched it the whole way through. It’s a thing of beauty.

They use those down in the pines in south Jersey. If you ever take a drive down the GSP you’ll see them felling trees along the side of the road.
