Congrats Mississippi! Looks like y’all can join the rest of the country in brewing great homemade beer without the threat of legal action.
Congrats to all in MS who worked so hard on this and to Gary and the AHA staff fo their efforts.
Very nice. Congrats Mississippi homebrewers!
SWEET!! or should I say bitter?
Congrats Mississippi!
Congrats Mississippi!!! Great work all around!
Congrats Mississippi!
Does that leave only Alabama?
Yes, and there is a bill there too.
Congratulations! ;D
You make an important point, Denny. For everyone who thinks their membership “only” gets them Zymurgy, pub discounts and organized competitions, there’s a lot more to it.
I’m sure this was hard work. Congrats.
This is embarrassing…
Are you talking about that pic of you in those shorts?
aren’t you guys ‘on the way’ this year as well?
just curious, but does the governor even need to sign it, or is this one of those things where the Gov has so many days to sign/veto after which it automatically becomes law?
Don’t bring it to a neighborhood party, though - transport is only allowed to “bona fide exhibitions, contests and competitions”. Here in IL we can’t even do that - it is required to be simply consumed by the homebrewer and his family and his “guests”. We need change on that here to allow for exhibitions, but Illinois has bigger problems to solve before they get to homebrewing…
Congrats Mississippians!
It’s embarrassing it’s taken this long. The south needs to catch up in many things. It’s hard to believe many things, beliefs, ideals, etc, have take as long as they have to be what they are today. And it’s amazing there are still some beliefs around…but that’s beside the point…
Congrats, Mississippi.
Congrats, y’all! I hope your neighbors to the east follow suit.
