Love that sink. Someday…
Thanks. No floor drain but good floor:
Agree with Jon, that sink and prep area is awesome, need to get rid of the old paint stained plastic “slop” sink in my basement for one like yours
You guys make me sick. You should see my brewing area…
I hear you, for more than 11 years I’ve brewed in the garage, with a majority of that just using a cooler and keg-kettle setup, but I moved and had an extra room behind the garage that just screamed brewery.
Awesome man! Looks great. Keep posting pictures as you make progress.
I am in and out of the garage to the laundry room where the sink is. Once I can get the sink in the garage I will be in business.
I recently put in a sink in my new basement brewery and it’s the best thing. It’s really helped being able to clean at that height. It moves up on my list of brewery enhancements people should do. Just makes brewing that much more enjoyable.
Keeps us posted on the progress!
thanks guys! fingers crossed, the hood will go in Wednesday and then I can start getting everything into its place.
Where will the glycol system go?
You need to have a 3 compartment sink :).
Looking good.
Yayaya. I like that I can fit a 20gal kettle in fairly easily.
Not perfect but good for me.
What’s glycol
Glycol is a cooling fluid. So you would have a glycol chiller and the you would distribute this fluid to the fermenters with cooling jacket.
Here is the glycol system I think you will need.
SS Brewtech Glycol Chiller 1/3 hp $999.95
Hmm. Will have to consider that when my two fermentation fridges kick.
I’ll hold off until they offer a jacketed fermenter. The current internal cooling coil fermented look like a nightmare to clean.
I used to have internal coil fermenters for couple of years. It was quite easy to clean with CIP.
So far so good Paul. My buddy got a used sink just like that from an old commisary at our local university. Lucky bastard!
Looking good. Don’t listen to lazy monk, just buy a large walk in fridge. Lol
