NHC 2012 Online Reg Opens Friday, March 2, 2012

Hi everyone,

The NHC online registration that was supposed to open Tuesday, February 28, will be available at 10 a.m. Mountain Time on Friday March 2, 2012 instead.  I apologize for the delay, and I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.

The online registration will be available from 10 a.m. MT, March 2 through 6 p.m. MT March 28, 2012.  There is an additional competition added this year, so there should be room for everyone to enter.  Each of the 10 U.S. competitions has a maximum limit of 750 entries.  Once the entry limit has been reached in a competition, the competition will be closed to any further entries.  See the top story on the AHA home page for tips to entering online, and look in the 2012 NHC Rules & Regulations for information about the competition.

Good luck in the competition!

Cheers,
Janis

Anyone want to guess the over/under on when all the regions will fill up.  7500 entries plus the Canadian competition…does anyone doubt it will fill up after seeing the response for the conference registration!

Good luck to all who enter ( and especially those judges that taste my entries  ;D )

I think most regions will fill up within a few days at most. Time will tell.

The way the hobby has been growing, I am with Ron on this.

my guess is that all 10 regions in the US fill up in 2 days with most regions filling up today.

the canadian competition will probably add aboot 300 entries.

on a different note…why is it that in america, its a “national” competition when other countries are invited to participate BUT we have “world” champions when other countries are not invited?

Mine are in and paid.  They’re not all brewed yet, but they’re registered.  Hope they turn out okay  ;D

Philly region is in the lead with Portland at it’s heels.  My 4 are in and paid for!

We are in for three entries.  Wow first-timers here but can’t believe all the entries already! :o

Registered, entered and paid.

Done!

ditto

Registered and paid for 3 entries.  Decided not to go with a new judging center this year after the debacle that was Saratoga Springs last time…

Which center did you go with?

I went with Indianapolis; it was the only one relatively close by that I remember from the past few years.  Now I just have to get UPS to not break my entries on the trip out there.  :-\

That’s where I went with both this year and last year.  Seemed like they did a great job with it last year so no point in switching up.

Portland is over half full already.

In past years I had sent my entries to Philly and everything was great.  Without opening up old wounds, I’m glad I’m sending there again this year.

Got my single entry in and paid right at the opening.  Taking my beer to the Colorado center in Arvada.

+1

I’m close enough that I can drive them to the judging center.

4 beers registered and paid for. Submitting to the Chicago center.

Just got mine in. 2:00PM CST and almost 1/2 of the 7,500 are already allocated. Cheers!!!
