A little check-in here as i drink the last of my surprisingly well made peated beers.
It is so good, that I actually intend to use it again.
hilarious that you say my quoted statement is a “mixed impression” implying it is confused or contradictory. it’s really quite clear, and tasting this beer now the statement stands.
no tasting notes here (though i keep my own) due to the hysterics, but to summarize: this malt absolutely has a place in a variety of beer styles, and i could imagine using it in a beer run of ~20 litres easily. it’s really pleasant.
