Oh no! Not Porkchop! What happened?? I’ll hoist one as soon as I get home. Cheers!!!
My condolences, Barry.
Aw man, really sorry to hear. I will raise one in just a little bit.
Porkchop is a really good name for a dog.
Dang, I hate seeing these threads. Anyone who knows me knows I how I feel about man’s best friend. Headed to the kegerator right now.
Godspeed.

Working right now- they would frown upon any “raising” but I will raise several tonight upon returning home.
Sorry to hear about Porkchop, Weaze.

I have not cried since I was13. Men do not cry. Please tell me it;'s ok. BTW…Any apelluirg error, dier to 7 sohts of whisket on the l;ast 45 min.s…hehehehe Gd I lover her!!!
Yeh, sometimes its okay… kinda like pick’n your battles and knowing the difference between a battle and a war though. ;) The older you get the more things become clear… like how something so ugly can be cute, how appropriate their “timing” was and you didn’t realize it then… and of course… if you felt like crap they always seem to know exactly how to make you feel just a little bit better. Our dog Sampson knows I’m still not up to par yet and he dotes on me especially after each time I’ve come home from the hospital. Yeh… go ahead, you may not ever feel right if you don’t. Jmo…

It is okay…
My heart goes out to you Barry. A dog is one of the greatest gifts handed down to us my friend. It’s okay to cry.
I’m sorry…

Ok, I can finally write a little…She was 14. Last few months, she had really bad itchy spots. Chewed and pulled fur out in spots. All she did was scratch, constantly. Poor dog could get no rest. Constantly. scratching. Took her to the vet, said it was allergies. Gave her a couple rounds of steroid shots. Those quit working. Took her back last week, did a thyroid test, said is was low. gave her pills and more steroids. She did great for about 5 days. Like a puppy again. saturday, she could not stand up. or use her back legs at times. Sometime in the night, she got on the couch in the mancave, but could not get back down. She peed all over it. She has not gone in the house since she was a puppy. Yesterday, she kept having spells where she could not stand, or walk. Today, she made it out the doggy dorr, and in the yard, and collapsed in the yard. Holly lifted her up, but she could not stay up. rushed her to the vet, and that was the end. Said he has seen it before, and there was no hope. She was the best dog I ever had. I wanted her to go while she still had her dignity, and not suffering any worse. The worst part is, I’m in Ohio. I could not be with her, say goodbye, or be with Holly. This is a real bitch. Thanks for listening. I’ll quit BFI’ng out now, and dragging the party down. Thnak you all.
