Vermont Pub and Brewery Closing After 38 Years
Losing another landmark. Glad I had the chance to visit last summer. Raise a glass to Greg Noonan…again.

Here here! Even after Greg’s death, VPB was super supportive of the homebrewing community. So much so that they brewed a selection from our annual competition each year, including my own Mild.They had a crazy little brew-house that Greg built in the basement that was dangerous as hell but made great beer. The pub was a very old-school brew-pub that lack pretension and didn’t have that warehouse aesthetic that so many more modern places have. I had conversations in that place!
Extremely sad to hear this. all the Generation One Breweries aging and dying out. Will miss the Wee Heavy and Smoked Porter. And we can’t forget McNeils either.
