SN Bigfoot Clone?

So after some searching around I couldn’t find a recipe for Sierra Nevada’s Bigfoot.  It is one of my favorite barely wines and I would like to give a try at brewing a clone.

Does anyone know of a good recipe they have tried?

This came pretty close, I think. People who tried it told me they thought of Bigfoot, before I said anything about the inspiration. I pulled all this from the SN site

1.097 OG
15# pale malt
1# Crystal 80. Use a medium English for best results.
(1 # dry extract because my efficiency sucked)

60 min
2 oz Chinook  13% alpha

15 min
1 oz Cascade 5.5% alpha
1 oz Centennial 8.6 % alpha

2 min
1 oz Cascade 5.5% alpha
1 oz Centennial 8.6 % alpha

Dry Hop with last 14 days

1 oz Cascade
1 oz Centennial
1 oz Chinook

I pitched on a yeast cake of Wyeast 1272, but 1056, WLP 001, US-05 would be the closer match.

I could be wrong but I think they use English medium crystal and English Dark Crystal blended together.  The hops look spot on compared to what the website says for the description.  Def use WLP001 or WY1056 since thats SN’s yeast.  I think they boil 2 hours as well.

They use C-55-60 range for their beers, unless it is a specialty.

I think the 2 hours boil for big and/or malty beers is key. it adds so much full maltiness that for my barley wines I don’t even add crystal.
