I ordered a couple of recipes from the USA and had it shipped to a close boarder town (I am Canadian), and got called away to a family emergency the day before the goods arrived. As far as I know, the grains, hops and yeast have been stored at room temperature for 14 days. To be on the safe side, I got new yeast before I came home. But would the hops still be good?
The yeast is probably still good unless the storage area was extremely hot. A starter will be required as it is even for properly stored yeast. As a guesstimate reduce the viability by 15% to 20% for not being refrigerated.
