Reminder, or for folks that haven’t seen this before, if you join in you are committing to ship 3 bombers or 6 12s to the person you are assigned. Done by random draw. Its not a pairing because that requires an equal number of participants. You’ll ship to one person and receive from another. I suggest at least one homebrew and suggest that local offerings that arent available where your swapper lives are nice too.

Disclaimer: this is not an AHA thing. We are just helping eachother brew better beer. Also, I am not policing this and sending reminders for shipping… if November comes and you haven’t gotten a package, feel free to PM your shipper and get it figured out. Keep in mind that we had 100% last time. No deadbeats! Woo hoo! Hint, reduce impatience and nervousness by PMing your plan and a tracking number to your recipient.
What makes this really fun is the polite but helpful banter in the forum on this thread about the beer…
I restarted the thread here on general brewing, and locked the one on events, to eliminate confusion and split threads.
Its the 25th! When I get up in the morning I’ll take any who have sent me a PM with forum name, real name, and shipping address (no PO Boxes)

Then I will do the drawing and post that. Sometime tomorrow, all participants will get a PM from me with your recipient’s info and some final instructions.
A couple things while we wait for the clock to clock down
No rush on shipping, so long as they receive while it is still Oktober…
Someone asked me what to do if you’re going to be gone for certain days and dont want a box of beer sitting in the weather. Easy fix. When I release the lineup, I encourage you to contact your recipient with an estimate of when you will ship. Waiting sucks, but waiting with info is much better. This is when you would let your shipper know if you are going to be out of town a certain time frame. You might also ask them if there is a local offering they’ve been wanting to try out. You might check to see if they are allergic to shelfish before shipping your Clam-bucha. Stuff like that. Then, if you want to be especially awesome, you will send them their tracking info.

So… because I didn’t have the foresight to keep records from the last swap, Mchrispen ended up with the same recipient as last time. To alleviate too much confusing, would one person swap recipients with him? First person to quote reply to this post with “I will” send Mchrispen your recipient info in a PM, and he will respond with your new recipients info.
Hopefully that is the only repeat…
