Water Chemistry for IPA - suggestions

I assume you’ve entered your starting water profile?

I got the same error and Martin told me to download a fresh copy of the spreadsheet and that fixed the problem. I also seem to recall a specific setting within Excel that I had to change once- I don’t know what that was.

I think many dry yeasts are European. Lots of malts and hops are European. Lots of malt (and barley before malting) is from Canada.

So, lots of inflation on homebrew ingredients. We could buy American, but generally protected industries raise prices to take in more profit.

I almost exclusively homebrew PNW style IPAs, spring water + additives, here is my water profile:

Ca 137.2 mg/L
Mg 11.3 mg/L
Na 12.4 mg/L
Cl 58 mg/L
SO4 211 mg/L
