how good it feels to have a brew day go exactly as planned. my dunkel weizen was such a pleasure to brew today. did a hochkurz decoction, nailed my desired PH of 5.4, hit 90% mash efficiency, nailed my preboil gravity and SG, and had a real nice trub free transfer! all done and cleaned up in 6-hours, so my work is done for today - i dont care what the wife says 8)

Had a few beers, and after 4.5 hours, the bubbles have begun on the dunkel…the beer gods shine on me today ;D
