Here is to lost loved ones…“clink”
Yeah, memorial day took on a whole new meaning to me today.
Fat Cat (Mark) passed today because his lungs, liver and kidneys were failing.
blah.
But now I’ll brew a beer in his honor and when his ashes come back, I’ll plant a tree with them.
I feel for you Drew. I know how close we can become to our cats (my mom calls them fur-people). Remember the good times. Raising a pint in memory of Fat Cat…
I have one on my lap, and two on my feet as I write this.
You almost had me there.
Cheers to your cat, Drew.
Really sorry Drew. So hard to lose a pet.
a toast to those important in our lives, people and pets, that have passed on…
Sorry about the loss Drew. Raise a pint to all those no longer with us. Remember the good times.
Sorry to hear about Fat Cat, Drew. Losing pet is a tough thing.
Thanks to all who made the ultimate sacrifice for this great country.
Sorry to hear about your friend, Drew. I will raise a pint of Ruination to Fat Cat tonight.
Bummer Drew, sorry about Fat Cat. We’ll eat birds in his honer today.
Just so you know who you’re toasting - his full name was Marcus Aurelius Fatticus Catticus or Mark for short.
My condolences. It’s amazing how close we become to our pets.
I had a jet black German shepherd named Marcus Aurelius when I was a kid.
Raising a pint to our service men and women and hoping that many of those who are currently serving abroad will be able to come home soon.
Sorry about your cat, Drew. I’ve been on the outs with mine lately (she’s been decorating my son’s room with various bodily fluids), but I know I’d be pretty bummed if she were gone.
I’m sitting here on this Memorial Day thinking of my Uncle Larry, whom I never knew. My uncle, Lawrence Edward Saxer, died in World War II, at the Battle of Guadalcanal, on November 13, 1942. My Uncle Larry served aboard the USS Juneau CL-52.
Thank you for your service, and sacrifice Uncle Larry. I wish I could have grown up knowing you. Dad says you were a great big brother.
To Larry! Cheers!
Cheers to my Grampas and their brothers in arms!
