Brewed a 1 gallon extract kit tonight w. speciality grains and noticed this stuff floating around. Is it some grain that escaped the muslin bag, a part of the hop pellet? It looks like little pieces of lettuce.

I see leaves in my fermenter when I dry hop with pellets.
interesting. Perhaps not all the hop material was ground up and the pelletizing left some petals fairly intact.
It does look like a hop flower petal. No reason to cuss. ;D
I get some coir twine floaters when using whole hops sometimes :o
