I need to make a Stout. Got 2 kegs ready to kick. Something like a Beamish
won’t be a clone cause I need to use the hops I have on hand. Tetnang…
I need to use up the dry yeast on hand that is about to expire…Nottingham…
goes like this…

.5 Pale Choc

no brewing, but I just hooked up my all cents IPA to the tap - I couldn’t resist and poured a pint (had to push the sanitizer out of the lines) - hoptastic - Larry Bell, eat your heart out! now I feel guilty for starting to drink beer at 2pm on a saturday. okay, maybe not that guilty…
just checked the gravity on my vienna - dropped 30 points in 6 days at 48df - gotta love slurry pitches!
nice looking porter recipe, ryan!
My 3rd attempt at all grain… bock.
And gonna keg my stout.
All Centennial IPA. Been wanting to do this for a while, not much happening here today, did our Valentine’s day stuff last night so I have a free day to brew.
(up-date) had a very good brew day, hit all my #'s on spot, everything went like clock-work, got everything washed-up
and had all small stuff air-drying on a towell spread on a table (outdoors). i go an draw me the first pint of the day, i walk back
outside just as a Jay-bird landed on my false bottom, took a crap on it, then grabed my only stir-bar and flew away with it. :o >:( ??? i may have invented a few new curse words
In between sparge 1 and 2 on that stout…smells so dang good!
Brew On bros!
Thats a great book.
I’ve had mine for years.
Late start as I looked for a fermenter this AM…didnt have one!
Had to rack an Impy Stout out of secondary (needed to be bottled up anyway)
Hope to be done in time to have the house cleaned up for when the wife gets home.
just got done re-brewing a pale ale
I’ve done twice before trying to nail
down my volumes, temps, times, etc.
got 89% efficiency which is way over
what I was shooting for :o
Mashed in on a blonde ale.
Are you serious?!?! That is the craziest thing I have ever heard! Hope that Jay doesn’t land on anything with a magnetic pull! ![]()
