Whitelabs new format - "no need for a starter" inaccurate

i understand, probably that proximity/speed of getting it. but the other thing is just that for me up here at least they are almost double the price of my local regional-name liquid yeast provider which provides big classic style pouches that are fresher and just a bigger volume.

i think the key thing, which IMHO Is good, is that we’ve seen regional liquid yeast producers do well simply because it allows for freshness.

I just pitched a 3 month old pouch of WLP 095 into a NEIPA and it took off like a rocket within about 16 hours.
