Zymurgy iphone app?

I saw an add for the Zymurgy app in the latest issue, but I can’y find it in the app store… any ideas?

I don’t see it listed in the Android app store either… hmmm

It should be hitting the Apple store within the next few days. The Android version will be available shortly there after.

Thanks Gary!  Man, you are a class act!  I hope to meet you at the NHC!

iPad also?

That’s what I meant by Apple store, it should work with iWhateverAppleDeviceYouUse.

Awesome!

Thanks Gary.

Groovy!

1 - This made me laugh.

2 - Will it be available in the Amazon store for Kindle Fire?

We’re looking into whether or not we can get the Android version in the Amazon store.  Amazon does not make it easy to add new apps to their store.

I gather that the browser that comes with Kindles does not play well with eZymurgy, either.

The Android app’s release is imminent, but unfortunately a technical issue with the Apple version has delayed its release until sometime next week.

I’m trying to use the android version but can’t get logged in. Is the username my email address? Gives me ‘missing operand after @gmail’.

+1

re: logging in - you should use the same username and password you use to log in to homebrewersassociation.org to view Members Only content and the web based eZymurgy.

Enjoy!

Well it works with the password I use for http://members.brewersassociation.org/apps/profile/login.aspx.

I guess it is an app that provides reading content - sort of competing with Amazon’s core market.

Got the app for my Samsung S3 / Nook and loving that i can read it anytime – anywhere. Only suggestion i have is to improve on the reading format. Most readers allow for an article focused view for easier reading.

Beyond that great work.

Still not seeing the iphone/ipad app yet, is there any update?

Thanks

I can tell you that initially the AHA was going to use Newsstand for Zymurgy.  Apparently Apple did’t like their app, so the AHA went back and designed an app specifically as app.  When they resubmitted it for approval, Apple didn’t realize there was a change in focus and denied it.  When the AHA pointed out the change in direction, it set the approval process back.  Hopefully it’ll show up this week, but it’s kinda up to Apple.

Just saw the app in the Apple app store. I guess those of us who have not “upgraded” from the first gen iPad are out of luck. App is for iOS 6 only…
