I was trying to register for the NHC in San Diego but I can’t seem to get member prices through the website. I was wondering if anyone else is having these problems?

Check with Kate and crew, but I believe the rate is discounted silently.
Worse comes to worse, if you get charged the non-member rate, just raise a flag and I’m sure they’ll get it fixed.
I had emailed them about a week ago but no one got back to me. I was hoping to get some attention here.

Is the online registration system available yet? I was looking around the competition website and all I saw was that “The on-line registration system will be available in mid-February 2011.”

Ah, you’re registering for the conference, not just the competition. Which you clearly said above, I just wasn’t reading very clearly

If you have entered your membership number as a 9-digit number with the leading zeros, the prices shown for your registration will be the member prices. If you are having difficulty with your registration. Please contact Kate Kingsbery (kingsbery@brewersassociation.org, or call 1-888-822-6273 x156) about your problem. She will be able to help resolve your issue.
The number you have listed in your post is not your membership number; please check your AHA number again. If you use your correct AHA membership number you probably won’t encounter the problem getting the member discount when you register for the conference.

Not sure what happened. I had initially mistyped my member number but even after I corrected that problem I was getting the inflated nonmember rate. I went ahead and signed up at the nonmember rate and then emailed Chris Williams ( williams@brewersassociation.org ) and he helped me out right away by refunding the $38.
