Beer in Spain Advice needed

Leaving for Spain soon and will be doing a guided tour. Cities are Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Granada, Ronda, Cadiz, and Seville. The Garage Brewing in Barcelona has good reviews and isn’t far from the Hotel. Recommendations for the other cities would be appreciated.

In Spain we will also be sampling the wine and ciders. I recently found that Spain has a higher beer consumption than wine. I know must of the beer will be international lagers.

After Spain we go to Germany, but we’ve got that covered.

It should be fun. We have several food tours and restaurant reservations made when we have free time. Will give a rundown when finished.

Beer isn’t great, but they have a naranja wine that’s pretty amazing.

Assuming good weather I highly recommend “Salts” bar. It’s up on Montjuic (which has a ton of history and great views) and quite a sight. Beer is the standard though- Estrella, etc. though they do have other drinks (wine, etc.) and food.

Fabrica Moritz in Barcelona has great beer and food.

Leaving for Madrid today.

The Tinto has been wonderful.

Spent 2 nights in Granada. Order a drink and you get a small plate of Tapas. The Tinto has all been good. Last night we with found a place with Alhambra beer, from the local brewery. A very nice lager, best I’ve had in Spain.

Now in Seville, where Cruz Campo is brewed. Almost a German Pilsner, bitter, but just 4.4% ABV. The lower alcohol works on the heat, was 97F yesterday.
