Just finishing up a week long work trip to Bucharest. Found an incredible beer bar that has 20 beers on draught and a Huge selection of cans and bottles.
So one would think European lagers right. Nope. I have never seen so many NEIPA’s on a beer menu. All brewed in Romania.
Best one I had is SPAM by Bereta huge hop citrusy aromas and flavors
I was there in 2009. I don’t remember any particular beers, but it was a great trip. If you have a chance to drive the Transfagarasan, it’s worth the trek.
Any recommendations on where to find good beer there? I am headed there next year.
In old town Bucharest there is a bar called Tap Craft Beer. This was the place that had 20 draught beers and a ton of cans.
