Yea, I take that back. I totally overlooked the double entendre of the word “liquor”.
Burn it to the ground by Nickleback
Denny, speaking of your podcast there is a little riff in there that sounds like a Rock / maybe a blues thing that I really like. Any info on that?

Beer drinkers and hell raisers is the b est one so far.
They guys and I at the brewery all play and sing a little and have kicked around the idea of starting a band called “The Hot Liquor Pumps”
I think “Hot Side Aeration” would be a better name.
Disagree

No no no, HLP just sounds better. Plus there is actually a such thing as a HLP.
Without too much thought, I have to agree with ZZ TOP. Maybe sentimental, as they were the first live show I ever saw, back in 1986. Spent high school accumulating their catalog on cassette. By the time CDS came around, I had moved onto alternative rock and don’t have them on CD at all. I absolutely love it when that song comes on the radio though
Not beer themed but:
1.) “Let’s Go Get Stoned” by Ray Charles (later covered by the Derek Trucks Band)
2.) “Too Much Alcohol” by Rory Gallagher.
“Let’s all drink lots of craft beer and take Uber home” by the Hot Liquor Pumps
“My wife doesn’t understand why I just bought 20 corny kegs” by the Hot Liquor Pumps
“I’d like sex better if you didn’t smell like Mikes Hard Lemonade” by the Hot Liquor Pumps

And how could I forget Roadhouse Blues by the Doors! Not a drinking/beer song, but it’s got the second best line in rock n roll.

“When you ain’t got nothing, you got nothin’ to lose”
Bob Dylan, Like a Rolling Stone, 1965
I looked up a few of these since I had never heard some before.

After seeing “Too drunk…” listed again, I’ll add in 6 Pack from Black Flag. A little different than everything listed, but still a great beer drinking song

It all comes from a production music library we bought.

See if you can find Garnet’s Homemade Beer:
Oh the year was 1975
I wish I’d never tried it now
When a band of men was turned quite green
By the scuzziest ale you’ve ever seen.
Goddamn them all, I was told this beer was worth it’s weight in gold.
For its a foolish man who shows no fear at a glass of Garnets homemade beer.

The video with it is also pretty good.
