Picture of my CCC invention (Carbonation Condition Chamber).
Can hold 4 cases of 22oz bottles.  Ink bird and heating pad
are used, set for 75f. Drain plug removed from cooler so wires can fit through,
and prevents any pressure from building up inside cooler.  Notice cooler
isn’t sitting on basement floor, it sits on an old weight bench which is padded.

If you look closely/zoom in, the heating pad is sideways inside.
Basement drops to low 50’s in winter and keeps it at 75f.

Simple design works great.

Very nice. I keep my bottles in a closet next to my desk. That is fine in the summer, but in the winter the beer takes an extra week or so to fully carbonate. I have most of the parts to build a chamber like yours, so that sounds like a good project.

A 25 watt pad is used in a huge cooler in a very cold basement.
If a smaller cooler and/or warmer environment is used, my guess is that
a lower wattage would work.  Many things out there that are cheap
and lower wattage.

It’s accurate too, eliminates the guessing / sampling.
After 3 weeks @75f, bottles are cased then placed on basement floor.
Basement floor is usually low to mid 50’s, 60 in summer.  After a week or so there
the beers begin to enter their sweet spot, flavors start to meld.

Bench capper screwed down to a piece of hard wood is used.
Grumbled while doing the first several hundred.  Now that I’m past
over 1,000 22oz bottles, it’s not too bad.
Like anything else, practice.  I breeze through 2 cases
of 22oz bottles like it’s nothing, bottled 2 cases this morning.
