I’ve heard that the redhead gene is slowly dying out. I’m a closet ginger; My beard occasionally gets reddish, and my daughter goes between strawberry blonde and red.
Kind of makes me wish I had married a redhead sometimes. But then I think about being married to a redhead.
I just like the term “closet ginger” very nice. I think, if anything, the redhead gene is exploding in numbers, but maybe I just notice it more because I’m a redhead.

Red heads are awesome! As for dying out, you’re probably right. With the world getting smaller and everyone mixing the recessive genes are getting smothered… I’m the only one in my group who has blue eyes.
