Hoses etc. for Anvil kettle?

Good evening, and happy Thanksgiving (to those who celebrate it, anyway).

I decided to get myself a Christmas present and ordered an Anvil 10-gallon brew kettle. I like the idea of having the ball valve to get my wort out…but here’s my question. What items do I need to connect a hose to the valve so I can put the hose in the fermenter? I know I need some kind of connector that will screw into or on the ball valve, but I can’t find a darn thing on the website about the proper size.

Anyone have one of these that can tell me if it’s 1/2 inch, 1 inch, 7/8, some other measurement? Thanks in advance!

I suggest getting quick disconnect fittings. NPT is most likely what you will need. Bobby at brewhardware.com has a good selection and is also good about getting back with you when you have questions. He can help you figure out exactly what you need.
