I'm sick of summer.

Its been too hot for too long. I’ve been here in Ohio for the bigger part of summer. So hot here, HVAC /sheet metal work has been unreal. Money has been great though. We figure make it while its there. Who knows what winter may bring. I’m sick of heat. I’m sick of humidity. I miss my wife, my dogs, and my mancave. I miss brewing. Oh, and i had an oxy/ aceteline  torch blow up in my face today. Three more weeks, and I’m home for a good long while. Rant over. Thank you for listening.

I am sick of werk. and co-erkers so dang tired of it …how long can this go ON?
I don’t care if you listen or not…still tired of werk.
:stuck_out_tongue:

dang…that felt good to get off my chest. thanks weeze

I want you to get now. All of you. Go to your window, open it, stick your head out and yell “I’M MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!”

thanks weeze, I went for it but apparently the window here doesn’t open, now I have a big goose egg and a headache. talk about mad as hell!

(just kidding)  ;D

Today - high 79, low 65

I work for myself.

I’m not mad as hell, and I’ll take all of it I can get!

Hawaii!

Tomorrows high here in Ohio, 96*. Humidity, 76%. The icon on Weatherbug is a cactus over top of a blazing sun. That’s never good.

I hate that damn cactus. Seen it way too many times for a New England summer this year.

Yeah. And who in the hell puts a cactus up with 76% humidity?! Way to go weather bug. Think it through!! I hate you!!!  >:(

I agree.  I’m ready to get out of the 90+degree days along with the 75%+humidity.  The dog days of summer are getting a little old now.  My favorite season is right around the corner though.

FOOTBALL SEASON!!!  Yeah baby!

Go Pats!

Oh, and deer season too  ;D

I’m about to write off this summer too.  I’m up in Cape Cod for the week and today was again hot and humid.  The rest of the days have been cloudy with torrential rain at times.  Except for Monday… ah, Monday.  72, clear and dry.

It looks like I’m in for a week in the mid-90s when I get back, which is not all that bad considering we’ve had weeks in the mid 100s recently.  The day it hit 107 was especially nice.  Good times.

So far we’ve had a pleasant summer in Central Texas. Only gets up to the upper 90’s instead of over a 100 like it usually does. The heat in Oklahoma and Arkansas has been brutal though. You put up with it but never seem to get used to this type of heat. I just move slower is all.

Every year I swear that a move to cooler climes is in order.

F-O-O-T-B-A-L-L…That’s a funny way to spell hockey.  :-\ Must be a Hawaiian thing.

Hockey?  What means hockey?  Comment est-ce que tu dis hockey en anglais ?  ::slight_smile:

This week it’s been: partly cloudy, high of 77. Overnight low of 60.

All I can say is, I don’t want summer to be over yet. All of April, May, June and part of July were CRAP with rain every. single. day.

Anyone besides me ever feel like kicking Carl in the shins?

Thanks, Weaze, I needed a laugh this morning!

at my mom’s farm for the weekend.  despite the heat, my dogs love swimming in the pond.  breaking through the morning serenity though are the unmistakable sounds of summer: the race cars at mid-ohio. far enough away that it takes a trained ear to pick up on them.
