Well it looks good. I guess you don’t like it?
I was just lamenting the fact that appearance only counts for 1/50 (in theory anyway).
I did make this one a little lighter than usual so I can drink it while I’m playing tennis (1.045 OG instead of the 1.055 I usually do for this recipe). I didn’t dial back the minerals, but at that gravity it comes off the slightest bit minerally and otherwise a little boring. Oh well, it serves the purpose and I like it much better than Gatorade

but at that gravity it comes off the slightest bit minerally
Personally, I love the German Dort lagers I’ve had and they’re all a tad minerally.

I guess I at least nailed the persistent white head. Yeah, 1 point for appearance

In between serves?
I’m sick of looking at all of the gin-clear lagers around here
I’m still hoping more of the hop smeg will drop out, but here’s my take at a hazy IPA:

Looks great. I can almost smell it from here!

Only on changeovers I limit myself to 16oz for a 1.5-3 hour match. Works for me, but YMMV.

I used to know a tennis player in Germany. She would drink lemonade mixed with beer. She was one bad @$$ B.

Gelatin is magic.

This supposed to be some kind of Hill Farmstead/Heady Topper wankery for the cloudy-on-purpose deal?

You just started a new obsession for me. I had a little cheapo Crystal Light powdered lemonade laying around and did a few trials in a taster glass at 30/70, 50/50 and 70/30. I think the 50/50 mixed with my Dortmunder is my new favorite sports drink. The minerally bite of the Dortmunder plays nicely with the sweetness and acidic bite of the lemonade.

That’s a beauty. Love the frothy head.
Yep. Looks great.
Looks awesome !
Nice!
Can you provide a quick hop schedule for a dort? I have a beer that I think is pretty close to a dort in style but uses sterling and crystal hops.

usually merkur/magnum for about 22ibu, and some noble like hallertauer for another 8ibu late addition.

I’ll bet it tastes even better than it looks!
I went with a 50/50 caramunich and carahell blend for 4.6% of grist…digging it.
