Swap-toberfest '15

Just a heads up so folks can brew if need be. No need to do anything or reply just yet.

This go around I’m suggesting two homebrews and one favorite local offering. One bomber each, or two 12s.

In September I will start gathering info from the interested. We’ll cutoff October 1st and start shipping.

More info to come, for now if you are interested, start brewing.

Thanks Jim, looking forward. The last one was a lot of fun.

Ya I agree, it was fun.

By the way, its ok to chime in if you are interested, but I won’t start gathering info till September.

Most likely my beers will be a Helles, a Brett Saison, and a local World Cup winning beer.

I’m interested

Yeah, that was fun. Pretty sure I’ll be in again.

I’m down

Can those of us without local offerings throw in a another homebrew instead?

Edit: Actually, by October they’ll be the same beer either way.

I should be in as well, although not completely sure what I’ll have at that point.  I’ve already thrown my current brew calendar out the window due to some interesting comps that came up.

Sure

First one was fun

I like the timeline. I’m in!

Cool!

Lets get started on the list.

If you are willing and able to commit to sharing beers (a mix of homebrew and local offerings suggested, 3 bombers or 6 12s) then say so with a post. Also, if you commit, I need a private message with the following info:

Forum name
Real name
Shipping address

You have through September 25th to sign up. I will shut it off then, and do the name drawing. You will get a PM back from me on the 26th or 27th with the info of who to ship your beer to, and the user name of who is shipping to you. Im not going to be monitoring shipping, but its Swaptoberfest, so get it shipped in time to arrive in October.

As to posting reviews, lets all feel free to banter away about the beers but judging and scoring is not necessary.

Have fun!

I’m in.

Anyone who gets you is going to expect Heady

I may be interested as well.  I should know better by September 25th.  We do the same thing on the Brewing Network each year (secret santa), and I’ve had some great homebrew and commercial beers.

Only request is that it is limited to the continental US…shipping overseas is way too expensive.

Well I’ll tell you what if I pull you I might expect some poverty lane to compare with your ciders. Actually sitting here at 7 barrels having a glass right now.

In.

Cool. Still need the PM though

Cool, got your PM.
