If I can get the book editing under control, then I’m going for an Imperial Stout this weekend. It’s the last chance I have to get anything through primary before switching continents for the holidays (where I will brew).
I think I’ll finally get to brew my sticke alt this weekend. I’m shooting for around 1.065-70 for the OG with lots of hops. I’ve never brewed an alt, but I have Hallertau Hersbrucker, Tettnanger, and Perle on hand. Any suggestions?
Fishin’ - marlin are here - big swells, not yet.
That’s next weekend for me
Good luck, I’ll tell Ted hi.
I am brewing an American Bitter. American pale malt, C60, and Mt. Hood hops.
Cleaning up 96 bottles for a pair of 5 gallon batches. One witbier, and one scottish ale.
BTW - Yes, I know all about the kegging options :) but cheap prevails over easy for the near future :-\
I’m doing a big weizenbock. 1.104 anticipated OG. I’m going to call it Tweiczenbock, as in a double weizenbock.
I brewed a Schwarzbier today. I also cleaned and hooked up my new kegging setup. My first beer in the “tank” is a Bohemian Pilsner that I’ve had lagering for a couple of months.
Just finished a 10gallon batch of oatmeal stout. Despite running out of propane after 15min, probably the easiest brew day in a year
Brewing Bohemian Pilsner on Sunday with WY2124 ans 50/50 Saaz/Magnum.
Well instead of brewing I build a walking cooler. Well someone else was building. I was just a beer boy.
Brewing a Belgian Golden Strong on Sunday.
Just finished cleaning up from the brewday. Hit everything exactly on except my boil off and ended up with a lower OG than I had hoped for. Still figuring out the boil off rate from the new kettle.
