What’s the beeps, peeps?
No brewing, but bottling my Wee Heavy.
Depends on a few things but I really want to brew a Steinbier.
It the weather is nice and I can get some burning done I’ll heat up some rocks and make one.
I am watching my fermenter this week ;D
I was going to do a hefeweizen and try out my new chiller, but instead I’m installing hardwood floors. That being said, if I finish the floor early enough, I may sneak a brewday in anyway. ;D
I have yeast ready. Tomorrow ends in a ‘Y’.
A big hopped San Diego inspired IPA/DIPA is on the list. Right in the style overlap zone.
A Bert Grant’s Perfect Porter clone on Monday. It’s been years since I’ve had one of these but the recipe I found on Homebrew Talk looks like it will be tasty. I get sad thinking about how Grant’s fell apart but I think this beer will cheer me up.
We will finally have decent weather this weekend so I hope to do an APA and maybe a cream ale too.
Sunday planning to brew Saison Buffoon from Radical Brewing, using WY3711. Also racking a Pliny the Elder clone to secondary and starting the dry hop schedule.
What kind of chiller did you get?
I’m brewing a CAP, kegging an APA, and drinking oatmeal stout.
I got a Shirron plate chiller. The fittings are on and it’s ready to go.
What else? A Maerzen to ferment in the garage while its still cool enough. Last lager of the season.
I am battling a horrendous cold…dont feel much like brewing
Watch some dvd’s and get feelin betta
I’m thinking of brewing up a Flanders Red Ale… :o
Not this week. Got 15 gal of Lambic to blend. ;D
Intend to bottle another kolsch but I also have grains for an IIPA. The starter is going but I don’t think it’ll be ready for the weekend proper.
Busy weekend. I kegged a Kolsch and an Irish Red. Today I brewed a cream ale and an APA.

Bottling an Irish Red as we speak, also need to start stepping up a slant - need to decide between 1056 and 1450 for a Robust Porter
Just brewed an APA.

1450 for a Robust Porter
I highly recommend 1450 in Porter.
