We survived the NHC for another year!
Anyone brewing? Cleaning up leftovers from the conference?

Transferring a raspberry honey wheat to the secondary to clear, maybe moving some wine one last time, and the volunteering for some friends who’s house burned in Colorado Springs. I’m not sure what to get somebody who just lost their home and only have the clothes on their backs…but a beer is a good start.
gonna keg up the saison I brewed a couple weeks ago and plan my next two weekends brewing. some sort of low gravity yeast growing bitter and then an old ale.
Lots of cleaning to do after the conference. Not looking forward to that, and the fact that I’ve come down with some crud doesn’t help either.
Yep, just cleaning up after NHC and kegging the second half of the Express IPA I brought to the conference. Probably some planning to round out the German line-up for Oktoberfest.
Going to brew my wife a Belgium style ale with Piloncillo sugar instead of candi. Also going to test a wheat IPA I made a while back.
Another NHC down and next year is Philly!
This weekend is cleaning and organizing the cellar and brewhouse. Planning a Saison experiment in the near future. No brewing this weekend.
Kegging a steam beer, and depending on whether or not my saison is ready to vacate the fermentation chamber, I might finally brew my oktoberfest. At this point though, I might as well rename it novemberfest.
Not much going on right now. Got a melomel to rack to secondary and that’s about it. Hope to get my mash tun in working order over the next day or two. Once that holds water I’m just going to patiently wait for RI to come up on Austin Homebrew Supply’s 10% off sale to buy the ingredients for my Belgian Barleywine.
Brewing an English Mild and racking my hopped American wheat on pureed apricots. Pretty damn excited.
Roggenbier
No brewing, but I’m kegging some hard cider with tart cherry syrup. Then going to Brews by the Bay in Lewes, DE.
1/2 through my boil on a Smoked Porter. Man my kitchen smells good! Going to clean some kegs and such later as well.
No brewing this weekend. Need to fill out the paperwork for my Battle of the Brews entries for delivery next week. Phase one of the Saison (oak aged) experiment is being dry spiced this week and gets oak starting next weekend. Ron and I need to put the rest of the plan together.
I am going to be brewing a low-gravity Belgian dubbel. I need to restock on the beer after NHC!
104 in the shade today, tomorrow and Sunday.
Maybe I’ll try one of those ice-brewed lagers
I got the saison kegged up early, only about 10 days from brew day! 1.036 to 1.003! actually tastes good. But there goes most of my brewing plans for the weekend. Guess I’ll have to be happy with drinking
My goal is 10 gallons of hefe-weizen. I’m going to take a run at it with some dry yeasts I have and see how they turn out.
I need to stock up for summer parties, and a nice wheat beer is always popular.
What yeast strain did you use?
Working all this week, weekend and the same next week and weekend. Even working on the 4th.
