Apparently LA decided to have it’s “oh my god how freaking hot is it” hot spell. So no brewing for me!
How about you?

Same kinda spell here…100 today and through the weekend. Man, am I jonesin’ to brew!
gorgeous here in colorado finally! currently 60 and raining.
going to brew a couple batches with 2 varieties of wild hops we picked the past month. I’ll be brewing something like how Mikkeller does his single hop beer series… same grain bill, same hopping rate, same yeast, etc etc.
Brewing an Amber Ale and a Witbier for a festival in october. I may make the Amber Ale with whole leaf hops instead of the usual pellet. I used leaf hops in my pumpkin ale this past weekend and I kinda liked working with them.
going to yosemite for my wife’s birthday, so no brewing, but I might be just about ready to keg the hefeweizen from last weekend when we get back! Had an extra gallon so I might grab a sck of frozen blackberries to add to secondary and see what that it like, I imagine a long trail black beary wheat only good.
wuss
No brewing, but am hoping all the parts for my new electric system arrive by Friday so I can start destruction…er…construction on the kettles.
The weather has finally cooled off here and I plan on making my IPA.
Brewing vacation next week . . . Belgian Blonde, Trippel, Patersbier, and a Wit. Belgian IPA if I can squeeze it in.
No brewing for me this weekend, even tho it is finally cool enough.
Class on Saturday and HBC (FOAM) picnic on Sunday. 8)
Do you have a wiring diagram?
I could give you mine that P-J did for me.
Man, am I jonesin’ to brew!
Me too Denny…
No brewing this weekend. Hopefully next weekend. My cellar is sitting at 69F as I type. Finally out of the 70’s
Havent brewed in temps under 110 for the last 3 months!!! Too hot to brew?? Whats that? No brewing this weekend, IPA next weekend though.
I hear that about jonesin’ to brew. I need my zymurgical therapy… a very complicated week, mostly good, but brain-numbing. Also waiting for a diagnosis for our sweet kitty, Prada, who may have cancer… she had a biopsy today, and the doctor felt it didn’t look good.
Assuming my ingredients arrive, I’m brewing a small-batch Amarillo APA, on the deck if it’s not windy, on the power burner in the kitchen if it is. Just gonna be ye olde alewife and commune with my brew. Stay OUTTA my kitchen until I pitch my yeast, if you know what’s good for you!
Brewing Ab (E) Normal Dubbel and kegging Red Zeppelin IRA.
After brewing every weekend for over a month (in preparation for my Oktoberfest party), I’m taking the weekend off. Weather is supposed to be unbelievable here this weekend. Good time to be outside, maybe go sailing.
No brewing this weekend for me. The festival down in Port will not be happening either. The flood gates at Conowingo are all open and I expect Port Deposit and Havre de Grace will have major flooding. Supposed to be the worst since Agnes in '72. I am glad I bought a house at the top of the cliff this time.
After the last couple weekends my pipeline is pretty full. I need to work on kicking my keg of pilsner and then keg up the stout.
Yeah, I brewed the last two weekends, so I will be cleaning up things, like the beer in the bottom of my chest freezer that evidently leaked out of one of my kegs.
It may be time to keg my Witbier. That’ll be nice to have on in two versions, 5 gallons of wit and 5 of poblano wit.
That and plumbing repairs in my 55 year old house. I hate plumbing.
I bottled a tripel last night. Boy, did that sample taste good.
No brewing for me this weekend. Have to drive 100 miles to go to a family reunion Saturday, then Sunday the wife has me helping her hang doors, then its my 91 year old neighbors birthday party at 4, followed by a homebrew club meeting at 6.
I did brew a Belgian Blond on Labor Day, using WY1762. I am hoping next weekend, to use that yeast cake to brew the Rochefort 8 clone.
