Sounds like Pro Brewer advice for the home brewer? If so - I’m in!
Billy Broas has a nice homebrewing blog: BillyBrew.com. He also writes for HomebrewAcademy.com. Both he and Denny are good candidates for picking brewers’ brains.
Couldn’t find much info via Google search… is it still in the works?
When I first started to homebrew, I bookmarked Billybrew.com as a reference and will still go by the site every now and then to see what’s going on. Great blog site with some really good info. Looks like a promising book.
Glad you got’er done Denny. I was hoping that photos would’ve given me an excuse to head to the hinterlands for a visit though. Look forward to perusing my copy. Bet you’ll even sign it for me.
Diane, that’s not the book that Drew and I are doing. This is another one, where I just contributed a few recipes. “Experimental Brewing” is still in progress, hopefully finished by the end of this year and released next Nov.
Michael Agnew is a relatively prominent figure in the Twin Cities beer scene. He regularly writes beer columns for the major local publications. I ran into him at the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis back in September. Nice guy, and extremely knowledgeable!
Congrats on the co-authorship, Denny! That’s awesome!
You’re supposed to be retired now! Good-oh for having an opportunity to do even more in a pursuit you’re both knowledgable and passionate about. (See, I don’t hold any hard feelings about the “16” you scored my beer in that “mystery beer” challenge…btw, you were the high score of the 4 judges…you slime sucking !@$$#) I still think it was funny you guys had to taste that stuff.
