Tomorrow I’m brewing up a lager and a mild. I don’t think I’ll have room in my fermentor chamber after that until after the first. Good thing because I think that will put me about a pint short of the annual limit.
I’m in the same boat…final brew Saturday, then bottling a bunch for gifts.
I’ll be brewing my 20th batch at some point before the new year.
I just brewed up my last batch a few days ago so I can get it packaged before I head out on my first vacation in 5 years!
I’m trying to get one more in before the end of the year, but last weekend it snowed and this weekend they are expecting rain.
I really need to look into an electric setup so I can brew inside.
Gonna brew an alt this weekend. It’ll be my last this year.
Ya…I failed to buy the supplies for one last brew…thanks for the salt in the wound
On the upside I have perfect plans for the upcoming year and a great brew schedule!
Just moved to St. Louis, and my cold-side equipment isn’t here yet…
Looking like I might not brew until mid-JANUARY!
Got a Wee Heavy mashing right now, and then doing a basic lambic this afternoon since it’s been a few months since I’ve fed my sour bugs.
If the big box in my front hallway is what I think it is, then there will be plenty o’ lagers coming once I can get back to brewing next year.
Last Saturday might’ve been my last of the year. It put me at 36 batches for the year, I think. A lot of 3 and 4 gallon batches. I’d like to brew one more time, an IPA, but not sure I’ll have the time/fermenter free. Got a pilsner going right now.
My last brew for the year was on Sunday. It is a smoked porter. Its my 6th batch, and 1st all grain. Cant wait to try it out and compare to the extract version (same basic recipe) that was my 3rd batch back in August.
I got all geared up to brew and then turned the water to the brewery back on after our recent freezing spell. Looks like I’m gonna have to be a plumber before I can be a brewer.
That blows! I had two water freeze sitchiations during out several week freeze. All good now due to aluminum bubble wrap and spray Styrofoam.
I decided to prep yesterday. Brewing today. Great brew day! Discovered BN brew strong on my smart phone. Learning laughing brewing drinking. Quadfecta
It was -15 degrees here not too long ago and I did not have any pipe busting problems so I was lucky there. Electric is the way to go, I can brew if its 0 or 100 comfortably.
I am waiting for the next snow storm to brew just so I can look out my brewery window as the flakes fall ;D
I’m going knock out an American Wheat very early on Saturday. It will very likely be my last brew of the year. Very busy 2 weeks coming up.
May get in the first brews of 2014 on the 2nd or 3rd of January. Not sure yet.
Paul
im brewing 30 gals before year end…15 down 15 to go!
I’m jealous. Not enough time nor space at this point. Brewed 20 gallons last weekend, though!
Might brew this weekend but more likely mash Monday night, brew Tuesday morning. Have not brewed since September, due to a heavy work/school schedule. I’m hoping to brew at least two times before late January.
Today might have been my last one for this year, I’ll have to see if I get motivated to brew a batch at home in the next 12 days. I’ll have to check my malt on hand too
I’m going to brew up something this weekend. I might even do two batches.
Sunday they are calling a high of 70 that might not happen again for quite a while.
