What's Brewing This Weekend - 11/19 Edition

Sorry for the late post… animal drama at home…

This week for me? No brewing, but time spent organizing the brewery! (That’ll make Jill happy!)

And for you my foamy friendS?

Not brewing but going to taste the first bottle of my first saison. very excited.

Tapping a keg of dry hopped IPA, kegging a batch of NB’s Irish Heavy, brewing a best bitter (the Brooklyn Brewery Summer Ale recipe from Clone Brews).

No brewing, going to Portland again . . .

I’m hoping to brew a 5 gallon batch of a Trappist w/raisins tomorrow before I go to Brooklyn for the weekend and pull my 5 gallons of Belgian cherry ale from the primary when I get home.

Full weekend at the Sunshine Challenge in Orlando.  Beer Fest, judging, pub crawl, visiting with the guest of honor (Ray Daniels)

Hey Jeff - please give all of my CFHB friends my Aloha!

I’m on call but I hope to brew 2 batches.  Tomorrow a Gumballhead type beer with lots of wheat and Amarillo, Sunday something dark to rack onto a oatmeal stout yeast cake.  Hopefully work won’t interfere with life.

I am going to try my hand at a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale clone. And hopefully by the time it finishes fermenting, I will have a beginning keg system to put it in.

What do you do if work does call?  How often do you get interrupted?

Will do.  Blatz will be there, too.

Oktoberfest.  I know, I know, it’s November, but I like this style any time and I need to grow up some yeast for a doppelbock. ;D

A couple of days ago we did a Rochefort 8 clone with the Herman Holtrop recipe as the base.  The garage smells really good.

Better late than never .

No bwewing for me.  Working on the brewery…kegerator and brewstand…and sniffing airlocks.  8)

I plan to keg 10 gallons of Premium American Lager on Friday. Then brew 10 gallons of Vienna Lager using a slurry from the PAL. Sunday looks to be a decent day so I’ll be smoking a couple turkeys for the holidays.  Cheers!!!

nothing!  man, it’s been a while since I’ve done no brewing.  only have to bottle one batch of session stout (5gal).  cake.

Got a lb of rye malt Joe Bair (Mr Solar Brewing) toasted for me on the rig, so…it’s a Toasted Rye PA Sunday. 8)

Nothing this weekend.  Still recovering from brewing two and bottling three last weekend.

I’m going to be working in the hives and the honey house.

No honey - no mead… :o

I am brewing Janet’s Brown Ale on Sunday, and Pecan Porter on Thanksgiving Day.
