What's Brewing This Weekend - 5/18 Edition

Anything? Bueller?

Kegging the Browns and cooling the Kolsch. Planning the O-fest for next week.

Brewing 12gals of something that ferments well with a yeast cake of cali ale yeast wlp001.

Plan is to brew up my Ofest on Saturday.

Bottling my IPA. My favorite local Farmers Market starts this weekend, so I’ll be asking around about berries and hopefully finding a good local honey source for getting into mead.

I think it’s about time for a summer ale. I’m thinking MO, some wheat malt, some lemon zest. Can’t decide on the hops, though…

I’m experimenting with a Praline Brown this weekend.

Lots of cleaning. And a rye ipa.

Something with a quick turnaround like a hefeweizen.

House IPA friday and Saison on Sunday. 11 gallons of each!

Bottling 10 gallons each of Kolsch, Imperial Stout, Oktoberfest, Baltic Porter, Witbier, ESB.

Gonna be a good weekend!

That is A LOT of bottling :o  I feel so inadequate ;D

We’re using the yeast cake from Big Brew Day to brew an American Pale.

Gonna brew a Helles, with WY1007, so I guess it’s not really a Helles, but pseudo-Helles.

I feel inadequate too…whilst I sit and watch other people do the bottling while im “brewing” and drinking haha.

That sounds excellent! Please report back.

Bottling an IPA and brewing a tripel. In between a lot of work in the yard.

Will do.  It will be my first time using pecans.  I’m hoping that brown sugar/pecans/a little vanilla/some flaked oats with a malty base will combine for something in the neighborhood of a praline flavor.  I’m starting light in all the flavors and hope to tweak from there in the future.

No brewing, but I’ll be kegging 3-4 batches for NHC.

Putting a Berliner Weisse in the secondary, adjusting carbonation and dry hopping an IPA, clarifying a Belgian Blonde ale, making a starter for a Czech pils, and taking a nap.

Trying to install another utility sink in my cellar.  Maybe bottling a RIS to make room for another keg.

No brewing.

No brewing but lots of indulging to empty kegs and bottles to make room for more beer.  Also celebrating my nephews 1st birthday.
