no brewing for me…no money until next weekend and I need grain and propane
+1
Lots of bottling to do. Got all my single hopped APAs and a wet-hopped Amber to do.
Old Ale for the Club Only Competition
No brewing, cleaning kegs and prepping bottles for Kolsch, Oktoberfest, German Pils and Roggenstein.
Brewing a Bitter and kegging 15 gallons of beer to make space in the fermenting fridge.
Bottling orange/honey saison, racking rye IPA to secondary w/ dry-hop. Weekend project is to find some good references to read up on specifics of hop aroma, hop flavor.
Fairly busy brewing weekend. Brewing a batch of Denny’s Rye IPA tomorrow. Need to transfer a couple beers to new kegs and also keg up a couple. Fun times! :0)
Session IPA for the Bells homebrew competition.
The words “Session IPA” make me want to scream…
Plan is to bottle the Flanders red, help neighbor close pool, and if the weather holds up, do some general chain saw related yard alterations.
Session IPA XPA for the Bells homebrew competition.
I didn’t expect you to chime in on that so quickly Denny ;D
My Novemberfest ( Oktoberfest started too late ) may be ready to keg this weekend. Also, 2 more taps for the kegerator being delivered today, so I may hook up the lines. Mix this in with closing the pool for the season and going to the Red Sox - Toronto game on Sunday (yippee : ), there will probably be no time for brewing
Probably bottling an Oktoberfest and a Tripel on Saturday.
Brewing a Saison-Brett on Sunday.
Just kegged the newest version of my APA last night, so I’ll at least be drinking it this weekend.
Brewing a nut brown ale that should be ready when my kegs and kegerator get here! ;D
After a short hiatus from brewing, I am doing a Blonde ale tonight with English ale yeast and a Rye Saison tomorrrow.
Bottling a small batch of oatmeal stout. Entering the long phase of fall where brewing will be minimal. sad
Just wrapped up a batch of Amber. We recently had a party and drained several kegs. Time to get into a once a week brew schedule to replenish the supplies!
Hosted a learn-to-brew party for 8 folks. We brewed a 20 gallon extract batch of IPA with Columbus, Amarillo, Cascade, and Simcoe hops. We also brewed a 20 gallon all grain batch of the White House Honey Porter. I wanted to show the crew what a mash looked like, so we converted the President’s extract recipe to all grain, including adjustments to the hopping for a full wort boil. It was a good day. Having them back over for a tasting in about a month.
