What's Brewing This Weekend - 7/27 Edition

Nice man.  Hope she doesn’t read this forum…

Congrats, better get a nice beer to enjoy together. And clean up the brewery, it will increase your odds.

Congrats!  What do the those two beers taste like together?
No brewing fore me  Working again this weekend doing soil explorations for a new hotel in the Portland Maine Old Port.  Hopefully I’ll get a starter together for next weekends adventures.

taking a brewing break and sittin in the shade enjoying some of my finished beers…
aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh        summer  8)

decided what I’d brew. I’m doing the first version of an all grain recipe of a warrior ipa I’ve had great success with in the extract version.

waiting for the boil and first hop drop now.

happy brewing!

Yesterday I brewed my first gluten free beer.  I posted with pictures in the Beer Recipes section in case anyone is interested.  I certainly welcome any comments!  :o

Ended up brewing a session witesque beer, but with some flaked rye, black pepper, and dried lemon.

But the LHBS did not have wit yeast so I grabbed a WLP565 and a WLP568

so off in the belgian anything goes farmhouse tradition.

I will brew an IPA today with amarillo, northern brewer and the ounce of Zythos hops I got at NHC.

I realized that taking 2 full cornies to a big shindig mid-August puts a pretty serious dent in my cold inventory, so I today I brewed 11 gallons of all Falconer’s Flight double pale ale (1.058).  Now everything is cleaned up and put away so it’s happy hour while I type up my notes in ProMash.

Brewed this recipe today.

No brewing.  Just returned from San Diego & visiting the Maltose Falcons last Sunday.  Today we kegged the barrel vesion of the DIPA Black Rye IPA from the MALTS project.  Look for some of this next Club Night in Phiily.

Ended up making a starter for next weekends Oktoberfest brew.  And canning tomatoes. :stuck_out_tongue:

You visited us? When? Where? I always miss out!

Stopped by the club brew and brought some of the black Rye DIPA The MALTS did for our barrel project since you guys were doing a black rye IPA on the club system.

Since its 110 in the shade here in OK, I’m going to skip standing over 10 gallons of boiling wort this weekend. Instead, I’m going to sour mash for a few days in prep for my Berliner weisse, since the garage is holding a steady 100+… Plus I don’t need an extended boil afterwards!
