What's Brewing This Weekend - 9/14 Edition

Month’s just about half sunk - whatcha going to do about it?

I’d brew, but the mercury is pointing to 102 tomorrow and Saturday, so forget that!

bottling a pale ale and a porter.

brewing an imperial dunkelweizen.

cheers!

Brewing a dry stout on Sunday

Kegging German Pils and Roggenstein this Friday.

Got half a batch of Barleywine left to bottle, but that’s about it. Went from having 10 fermenters going last week to just 2 in secondary. Basement looks a little empty all of a sudden.

Kegging some kolsch. maybe brewing some wheat wine with heather tips instead of hops.

Keg Oktoberfest and brew Doppelbock.  Maybe bottle the Flander red that I didn’t get to last weekend.

Just curious, how long did you stash-away your Flanders for souring and if you used Roeselare?

Kegging the Hop Harvest Ale and hopefully try to squeeze in a brew.  We’re celebrating our anniversary this weekend so not sure I’ll have the time.

Nothing this weekend, but probably brewing something early next week.

I think I’m going to brew an oatmeal schwarzbier this weekend with WLP833.

We’re the lucky ones here in Iowa.  It’s like 55F and cloudy today.  I LOVE it.  And it’s also my birthday! Yay, autumn!

Primary was S-05 and then about 21 months using a combination of B. lambicus and L. Delbruckii in the secondary.  It didn’t get quite as sour as I would like because I had let the primary yeast attenuate to far before pithcing the wild things.  The next batch  I make I plan on pitching the Brett and bugs first and pitch the Saccharomyces after a few days to a week.

Oatmeal schwarzbier sounds yummy!

Thats called a WeizenBock… Which is what I am brewing this weekend as well!

Brewed my Golden Strong Ale lat night, does that count? I never brew on the weekends, I have to brew on Tuesday through Thursday.

Sadly nothing this weekend. Just moving some beer from carboy to kegs etc.

Nothing brewing, but our club is filing a barrel this weekend. And I need to bottle some beer off a couple kegs to free them up.

American IPA - my first! Hopefully the Keg Fairy will make an appearance on my Birthday next week and leave me something to put this stuff in…

I’m brewing the President’s honey pale ale to have it ready in time for election night, and my first Black IPA.  Should be fun!

Brewing a Blonde Ale on Sunday and test tasting my Munich Dunkel.
