What's Brewing This Weekend - 9/10 Edition

So what’s going for you? Me, I’m off at a wedding in FL, so none for me. Although I suppose I should be happy that with this week’s weirdly grey weather in LA, I have that English IPA burbling away. (This IPA is pretty much all MO with a little crystal kicker and it uses Challenger and Pilgrim hops)

Have to work all weekend. Twelve gallons fermenting happily after Labor day brew session. Might brew the following weekend- if I do it will be an IPA.

I’m home alone with two 5-year-olds, I’m not sure brewing is in the cards.  I’m hoping to build some more shelves in the garage to continue the never ending process of getting things better organized.

The 24G Boys of Savannah will be doing about 40 brewing units of Hefe Saturday across the river in Bluffton at the Big Johnson Brewery. ;D

I’m doing an English Barleywine and a dry stout on Saturday.

Taking a break from belgians and brewing a red rye ipa.  I need something hoppy!

Unfortunately no brewing this weekend…just more BJCP studying.

Good luck on the test, Ron!

No brewing for me this weekend…I’ll still have garage/brewery torn up doing plumbing.

Thanks…I think I’ll need it.

None . . gotta wait on the two 1/2 barrels holding the PU and O-fest clones to come out to make more fermentation room.

I am going to brew my first batch this weekend. An Irish Red Ale.

Good luck!!  I hope your first one turns out great and you fall in love with the hobby.

You seem to have a good grasp of the material.  Remember to practice writing your answers - you’d be surprised how tired your hand gets after three hours of work writing the exam.

Brewing on Sunday.
Bohemian Pilsner again.
I even do not have to change signature.
Getting closer to desired recipe.

Thank you!

Brewing is something I have wanted to do for a long time, but I have been too busy. Life is finally slowing down enough for me to take up an enjoyable hobby.

Kegging our IPA & brewing a Belgian Dubbel this Sunday

I am not brewing this weekend but do have a British Ale and an ESB in the secondary.  I also have a IPA in the primary that I brewed on Labor Day.

Pumpkin Ale if I get it by saturday… Sunday will be football.  Maybe football and brewing.  Haven’t decided yet!  Of course it all depends on when they shipped my stuff.

Brewing a Cherrywood Smoked Doppelbock, maybe keg the Belgian Honey Pale, try the Saison and Munich/Vienna Lager…

Thanks for the tip.
